Empty Instagram Profiles List
If you see an empty list when trying to connect your Instagram profile, it means the Instagram Graph API could not find any eligible Instagram accounts linked to your Facebook login. To resolve this, ensure all of the following requirements are met:
1. Switch to a Business or Creator Account
Your Instagram account must be a Professional account (Business or Creator) — personal accounts are not supported by the API.
How to switch: Open the Instagram app → Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account → choose Business or Creator. See Meta's official guide for detailed steps.
2. Link Your Instagram Account to a Facebook Page
Your Instagram Business or Creator account must be connected to a Facebook Page that you manage.
How to link: Go to your Meta Business Suite → Accounts → Instagram accounts → Connect your Instagram account. Alternatively, in Instagram: Settings → Account → Linked Accounts → Facebook → select your Facebook Page. See Meta's Accounts Center guide for detailed steps.
3. Ensure You Are an Admin of the Facebook Page
You must have an Admin or Editor role on the Facebook Page that is linked to your Instagram account. The API only returns pages where you have a sufficient role. You can check your role in Meta Business Suite → Page access.
4. Grant the Required Permissions During Login
When you logged into Facebook through Adzviser, make sure you did not skip or deny permissions such as pages_show_list or instagram_basic. If you did, disconnect and reconnect the data source to re-grant permissions.
Sorry, Your Microsoft Ads Connection Failed
Oops! Your Microsoft Ads connection didn't go through. This issue could be due to one of these reasons:
Admin Approval Required
Your organization’s admin may not have approved the app installation.
Solution: Ask your IT administrator or the person managing your Microsoft environment to complete the following steps:
- Step 1: Log into Microsoft Entra as an administrator and follow the instructions to enable permissions for the “Adzviser” app.
- Step 2: Visit https://copter.adzviser.com/authorize_bing_ads, log in to the Microsoft Advertising data source connector, and complete the consent process.
Personal vs. Work Account Conflict
If your Microsoft Advertising account is connected to a personal Microsoft account, you may encounter errors when trying to connect using a work account.
Solution: Ensure that you are logged in to the correct Microsoft account for your organization. Try switching to your work account and attempting the connection again.
Data Studio OAuth Error: Redirected Too Many Times
This issue occurrs likely due to the user "logged into multiple Google accounts". To fix it, please do the following:
- Open Google Chrome
- Go to Your Profile - Click on your profile picture (or the account icon) in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Select "Manage People"
- Remove Extra Accounts (In the new window displaying all logged-in accounts, find the account(s) you wish to remove. Hover over the account icon, click on the three vertical dots, and choose “Remove This Person.” Confirm the removal if prompted.)
- Restart Chrome
- Reinstall the Adzviser Data Studio Connector
Google Sheets Add-on: Stuck on Loading
If your Adzviser Google Sheets add-on is stuck in an infinite loading state, the most common reason is a mismatch between the Google account used in Chrome and the one signed into Google Sheets.
How to Fix It: Ensure you're using the same Google account across both:
- In Chrome, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and confirm which account you're using.
- In Google Sheets, check the account in the top-right corner and make sure it matches the one in Chrome.
If the issue persists after verifying your accounts, try logging out and back in or clearing your browser cache.
