Get Data to Table

To transfer your marketing data from platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Shopify into Microsoft Excel via Adzviser, follow these simple steps:

  1. Choose your workspace
  2. Pick the account(s) you wish to analyze
  3. Specify the date range(s) of interest
  4. Select the metrics and breakdowns you need
  5. (Optional) Choose the time granularity

Step 1: Choose your workspace

A workspace acts as a container for your connected accounts, allowing you to organize them efficiently. It enables simultaneous querying of multiple cross-channel accounts.

In the Adzviser task pane, click on the Workspaces dropdown and select the workspace you want to use. By default, your initially created workspace is pre-selected for convenience.

Step 2: Pick the account(s) you wish to analyze

Within your workspace, you can analyze single or multiple accounts concurrently. This analysis generates data for each selected account.

Use the Accounts dropdown to select which connected accounts you want to pull data from.

Step 3: Specify the date range(s) of interest

Define one or more date ranges for the data retrieval, tailoring the information to your specific needs.

📅

Note that setting either the start or end date in the future is not permitted due to the reporting nature of the data.

You can use:

  • Custom date range: Select specific start and end dates
  • Predefined ranges: Use convenient options like "Last month", "Last X days", "This month", etc.

Step 4: Select the metrics and breakdowns

Understanding metrics and breakdowns is key to getting the right data:

  • A metric is a quantitative measurement—data that can be measured and expressed in numbers. Examples include clicks, impressions, conversions, revenue, cost, etc.

  • A breakdown is a qualitative attribute that provides context by categorizing or segmenting your metrics. Examples include country, campaign name, ad group, date, device, etc.

Both metrics and breakdowns can be easily found and selected via the search bar or dropdown menus in the Adzviser task pane.

Step 5 (optional): Choose time granularity

Time granularity allows you to choose the level of detail for time-based data segmentation. Options include:

  • Daily: Get data for each day
  • Weekly: Aggregate data by week
  • Monthly: Aggregate data by month
  • Quarterly: Aggregate data by quarter

Setting the appropriate time granularity helps tailor the data's temporal resolution to your specific analytical needs.

Step 6: Load the data

Once you've made all your selections, click the "Get Data to Table" button. Adzviser will fetch your data and populate it into your Excel worksheet.
